We are a Toronto based company bringing agricultural knowledge and experience to travelers. Our tours are not your typical botanical excursion. Explore with us…as we journey between the old and new. Picture yourself visiting a 600 year old cheese company and a hops farm with novel ideas or the first known olive oil factory and a state of the art glasshouse. We’ll partake of local eats, drinks, and customs offered.

Westland Greenhouse Tour
Thank you Peet for giving an informative greenhouse demonstration to our group. Demowerkeijk Westland is unique and combines growing with research and the latest in high tech horticulture. We were wowed by his intelligence and the matter of fact layman's terms he used to help us understand.
It was amazing how the environment was controlled so efficiently. Mother Nature would be proud!

FloraHolland Tour
It was long and interesting day, our first activity day since arriving yesterday afternoon. We started early by arriving at FloraHolland at 7:00 am for a guided tour of the auction. This auction is 102 years old! a Dutch tradition where the bidding starts high on 'the clock' and falls as time runs out.
Bidders risk paying too much if they buy early and risk missing out on that flower purchase if they wait too long.

The strong agriculture and horticulture sector of the Netherlands, a small country but the second largest agro-food exporter in the world, only surpassed by the U.S...., has increasingly been drawn into the limelight recently.
Numerous politicians, government officials as well as private businesses have been and are heading to the Netherlands to catch a glimpse of what’s going on there: the unprecedented, state of the art innovations, climate-smart agriculture powered by ICT, spearheading approaches pursuing sustainable agriculture, and the “Golden Triangle”, a solid exchange between businesses, knowledge institutes, and the government.
We are happy to announce that a new full-colour booklet focusing on Dutch horticulture is now available for download in English and Japanese.
